In this capacity, you will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products to help the operations team manage line transfers and/or ramp-up planning activities for all applicable Therm-O-Disc product lines. You will lead the facilitation of demand planning reviews, along with the internal sales and operations teams, to ensure consensus is reached according to the current demand. In this role, you will: Create, maintain, and publish companywide forecast reports and analysis including demand analysis at aggregated tier levels across the short- and long-term forecasting horizons. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results while adhering to standardized demand planning procedures. Use Key Customer Accounts Analysis to develop a demand forecast based on demand patterns and business trends. Conduct analysis on demand, lead time, timely delivery, and forecast accuracy. Accountable for gathering forecasts and explaining how the demand versus the forecasts affects the business unit in terms of sales and unit values to make sure that the business is headed in the right direction. Facilitate Regional Forecast Reviews attended by Sales Directors and Sales Managers to discuss detailed forecast gaps, new projects, and highlight forecast trend analysis. Ensure that the demand gets to the right manufacturing site and is coordinated with line move timing (Regionalization). Generate reports and analyses that would show sales performance based on forecasting vs. actual shipments through MAPE calculation. For this role, you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any 4-year Business course or related field. 3 to 4 years of working experience as a demand analyst, pricing analyst, sales analyst, data management, and analytics. Knowledgeable in database platforms such as SQL, and Visual Studio. Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
